Parking Information
We are a landlocked school. Our parking lot is for teachers and staff only. To park at Roberts, you may utilize any of the open parking spots at the circle drive entrance on Swift Street. If there are no spaces available, you may park along the perimeter of the school (except on Greenbriar), or in the neighborhood, where parking IS permitted. Please do not block our neighbor's driveway.
Campus doors open at 7:15 am. Please do not drop off students BEFORE 7:15 am. There is no staff on duty for supervision.
3 entry points:
1. Red doors at the Circle Drive - main entrance (moving car line; no parking in the Circle Drive or anywhere on Swift Street in front of the school)
2. Greenbriar Gate on Greenbriar Drive (gate closes at 7:25 am; no car drop off at Greenbriar; this is a walk-up gate only)
3. Small gate on School Street (moving car line; no parking; gate closes at 7:30 am; students need to enter through the Circle Drive)
Please note: the Circle Drive is closed during the following times: 7:00AM-7:45AM and 2:30PM-3:30PM. There is NO parking in the Circle Drive during these times.
Car line procedures:
Parents are to remain in the car and pull forward to the next staff or safety patrol member in the car line. Students MUST exit on the curb side (passenger side). Staff and safety patrol members are not allowed to assist students from the driver side so plan accordingly. Please have students belongings ready and students are prepared to exit the car when the car comes to a complete stop.
Dismissal: please note, the cut-off to pick up students early is 2:30 pm
1. The Afternoon Carpool line starts on School Street and wraps around to Swift and Greenbriar. If there is an ACTIVE car line moving, please join the line on Greenbriar northbound (from Holcombe). Do NOT cross Greenbriar eastbound on Swift (from Kirby) and NO turning left on Swift from Greenbriar southbound (from Rice area). Do NOT turn left on Swift heading westbound.
2. Parent Walk-up: Parents will enter through the small gate at the Circle Drive and line up around the flagpole. Please have a sign with your child's FULL name and grade level to help expedite the calling of students. Do NOT park in the circle drive or the carpool line if you are doing parent walk-up. Circle Drive is for buses and daycare vans only.
3. Independent walkers will exit through the small gate at the soccer field on School Street. Independent walkers are for grades 2nd and up only. KG & 1st grade students can be an independent walker with an older sibling.
After 3:15, it is considered a late pick-up. You will need to check out your child from the Reception desk. As always, you need to bring a valid ID to check out a student.
